Breakfast Classics–The Best Bialy?

Ed Levine of Serious Eats says it’s from Hot Bread Kitchen at the Greenmarket on the Upper West Side, at Columbus and 77th.

Yelp tells me it’s from Kossar’s Bakery at 367 Grand St.

There’s even a http://bialys.com/, sponsored by Coney Island Bialys and Bagels.

But as far as I’m concerned, the best bialy is the one I’ve toasted and spread with butter on a peaceful Sunday morning as I laugh at and argue with the New York Times’ Style Section’s “Social Qs” by Philip Galanes.

OK, I must admit–this bialy is sadly bereft of onions. I should’ve gone to H&H.
